Syracuse Women’s Basketball crushed in 92-51 loss to Boston College
Here inside Conte Forum this afternoon, it was Disney Day, but for Syracuse women’s basketball, it was anything but magical. A 92-51 final scoreline against Boston College, which left SU head coach Felisha Leggett-Jack saying the team just plainly got their butts kicked.
The fight is significant. Your story has to mean something so desperately that you want to risk it all, and we’re not there yet. We get close, and then we have a situation, and then, you know, we’re not as good as we were last year, where we can manage a two or three or four bad situations, bad calls, bad situations. We kind of stun ourself a little bit, but your story got to mean so much that you don’t see those mistakes, you don’t see that situation, and we got to fight on, and we’re just not there yet. This is a rebuild situation. I hate that word, but I think that’s where we are.
Today’s 41-point loss for Syracuse marked its worst in nearly three years, and the road just doesn’t get any easier. Syracuse takes on NC State, who are 21st in the country. The Wolfpack have won the last eight matchups in a row against the Orange, dating back to 2017. That was the last time SU got a win against NC State. But for right now, reporting here from Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Josh Soloman, CitrusTV.
