Syracuse Tennis loses to Virginia Tech 4-3

(Drew Albaugh)

In a back and forth battle, Syracuse tennis lost 4-3 against Virginia Tech, but it didn’t always seem that way. After losing the doubles point, SU went on to win three of the next four singles points, but with just one match away from victory,  the Hokies with their backs against the wall responded while the orange disappeared.

The match, so we’ll  talk more about things tomorrow at practice and I mean get back to get back to work. I think there are no secrets. I think we’ve we’ve been around long enough to understand that matches can go either way and sometimes tough loss. Tough losses like this can can motivate you and you come back the next match with a little bit of a chip on your shoulder.

It’s always hard. We’re always putting a lot of work every practice. I mean it happens sometimes we have to. Understand, analyze and it’s always experience. So the only thing we can do and just come back to practice and work hard.

It was Virginia Tech’s first ACC win of the season. On the other hand, the Orange have now lost five straight and are one in eight. In conference, Syracuse is right back at it this Sunday against number five, Virginia. The Orange have lost 13 straight against the Cavaliers reporting from Drumlin’s.
