Syracuse Cruises by San Diego State 78-62 in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament
Syracuse’s 2-3 zone stifled San Diego State in Hinkle Fieldhouse Friday night. The Aztecs attempted a season-high 40 threes but only made 11. The Orange turned their strong defense into offense, making 15 triples. Buddy Boeheim led all scorers with 30 points, including seven from deep.
