Lianza Reyes is a Broadcast and Digital Journalism Major hailing from Manila, Philippines. She primarily serves as the Executive Producer and Director of CitrusTV Noticias, the only Spanish newscast in Central New York. She began her freshman year unsure what she wanted to do but realized she had a knack for producing, though she likes developing her on-air presence. She knows every studio position and formerly served as the Associate Producer for Talking Points and B-Show, the director of Thursday news, and a brief anchor. Most recently, she held a production internship at Rappler, a social news network based in Manila, where she was thrown into field work and breaking news. Outside of CitrusTV, Lianza is a Learning Community Resident Advisor and is involved with multiple organizations such as the International magazine, the Daily Orange, University 100, and the Filipino Student Association. When not in the newsroom, she performs slam poetry and is an advocate for various social issues.
