Syracuse Women Dominate Miami In Return After Four Week Layoff
After a four week layoff including a COVID induced pause, the Syracuse women’s basketball team looked like a completely different side in dominating Miami 99-64 at the Dome. Five star freshman Priscilla Williams led the charge with 26 points on 9-9 shooting and 6-6 from beyond the arc, both tying program records. The team shot 64% from the floor, and 17-30 from three. As reporter James Corrigan explains, a tough road lies ahead for the Orange, but Quentin Hillsman’s side looked like the team many expected to see compete for an ACC championship in 2021.
