Syracuse Women’s Basketball tops Clemson 67-55

After Thursday’s loss to NC State things looked bleak for Syracuse women’s basketball. The Orange led for over three-quarters of the game before falling behind late and dropping to one and seven in ACC play the ‘Cuse took an unwavering belief into today’s matchup with Clemson and the Orange prevailed taking down the Tigers 67 to 55 inside the Littlejohn Coliseum and for SU head coach Felisia Legette-Jack it was a simple two ingredient recipe for the win. Aggressive composure. “Be aggressive but don’t lose your composure. We almost lost it a couple times down the stretch in this game and we had to remind them we’re not too high and same with me I got to not lose my composure.” Syracuse has plenty of momentum to take into the month of February after picking up its first road win in league play. The ‘Cuse takes on Virginia inside the Dome next Sunday. Tip off between the Orange and Cavaliers is slated for noon reporting from the Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson South Carolina, Adam Hipsky, Citrus TV.
