Syracuse Triumphs Over No. 6 Miami for Largest Comeback in Program History

Often times in sports and in life things do not live up to the hype. entering this week a lot of Syracuse fans claimed that this game against number six Miami was the most hyped up game since the turn of the century. down 21 nothing though things were looking Grim for the orange. then Syracuse stormed back win to an instant Thriller 42- 38 it marked the largest comeback win in program history and for the first time since 1998 Su secured three top 25 wins. a day that began with hope for all these Syracuse fans ended in A Storm of the field.

FRAN- I’m happy for our players that our seniors got to raise the standard of what it takes to be a Syracuse football player.

MCCORD- I just want to be the one who helped bring it back to what it once was Syracuse is for real and so to be a part of that team that turned things around and you know got things going in the right direction. I think that’s you know that’s going to last forever. *GRANT* cuse is back baby and that this is just the beginning.

MEEKS- Patience is a big thing when it comes to football. I’m just blessed to be able to just create these memories I know it’s going to last a lifetime.

MCCORD- You know this was definitely the best decision in my life to come here. I think my my favorite moment is today without a doubt.

Cuse quarterback Kyle McCord, a senior playing the dome for the final time was once again awesome. he surpassed 300
yards for the 11th time in 12 games this season and what’s even funnier full circle moment here for sports funny how this stuff happens earlier on Saturday Michigan upset Ohio State Ryan Day the head coach of the Buckey three years ago burned McCord’s redshirt by playing him in a meaningless garbage time moment against Michigan State. today mcord had the last laugh.

REPORTER- Does it give you any extra satisfaction knowing that the same day you out to cam Ward beat Miami with this team that Ohio state scored 10 points and lost to Michigan.

MCCORD- Everything comes full circle.

FRAN-  just told him like I needed him to be honest I thought Kyle was the best quarterback in the country at the time and right now proven that he is the best quarterback in the country he will forever um have a place in my heart you know will forever just be a part of my
family that’s my guy man I love that kid a lot.
