Syracuse handled by No 5 Wake Forest 3-0 today.

Syracuse women’s soccer is still searching for it’s first ACC win.  After a 3-0 loss to No 5 Wake Forest today the team dropped to 0-5 in ACC play.  The Demon Deacons are one of the best teams in college soccer, but the team knew that going into today.

Nicky Adams, “I was speaking to the coach prior I just said out of all my years here I think this is the best Wake team they’ve had they have 19 seniors so you can see what just leadership and seniority can do they did not take a second of that entire game no matter what was going on.”

In non-conference games Syracuse has scored 16 goals.  However, in Acc play the team has bagged just 2.

Nicky Adams, “Scoring goals in the ACC is pretty darn hard, but at the end of the day I go back and look and its not like we’re creating its up to the players I mean the amount of of finishing stuff that we’re doing at training we’re working on it.”

Syracuse aims to get it’s first ACC win on Saturday against No 13 Notre Dame.  The Fighting Irish have allowed just 5 goals this season.  Game time is at 1 at SU Soccer Stadium.  Reporting from SU Soccer Stadium, Timmy Weiss, Citrus TV.
