Syracuse Volleyball dominates in 3-0 straight sets win over Le Moyne
Straight sets, that’s been the name of the game for Syracuse Volleyball to begin its undefeated season. 10-0 after a 3-0 straight sets win against Le Moyne. Seven of those ten games have come in that fashion. SU head coach Bakeer Ganesharatnam said the key is the gelling of new players into the Orange system. We knew coming into the season we’re gonna have a lot of new players, but we made a conscious effort to kind of gel together and try to become a cohesive group. Obviously that’s a work in progress, but I feel like we’re progressing towards the right direction on a consistent basis, which is another big reason I think for us to be more consistent in our performance. I mean, we got a new team, we got a lot of new people coming in, so it definitely took us some time to get on the same level. For example, me, my connection with the hitters, that takes some time and you cannot practice that in practice. Because you need to be in the game situation, so I feel like having all those games, really exciting, really fun, we’re all excited to go into ACC. Syracuse Volleyball rolls on in its Invitational on Saturday. After a rest day tomorrow, SU will take on Iowa State on Saturday at 1 p.m. right here in the Women’s Building.
